I love this quote – this is a powerful promise to make ourselves. But we need to take some positive action and responsibility to support this decision.
A positive, happy, healthy life doesn’t just happen. We make it happen by consistently making positive, happy, healthy choices in thought, action and attitude. Sometimes it’s a fight, especially when we go through difficult times.
The attitude of optimism is worth fighting for. Make a commitment to deliberately decide you will expect a good outcome and you will choose to see the good in everyone and everything. Never lose hope. Why is this important?
Optimism promotes health and wellness in our body by keeping the stress hormone cortisol low and by increasing serotonin and other healthy happy endorphins.
Not everything is going to go our way in life. There will be trials and challenge, and our attitude is one of the most important things we have control over. So we need to take a proactive approach to keep our attitude healthy. The more peace, hope and optimism we have in our heart, the more we will enjoy everyday life!
The thoughts we think on a regular basis has a significant impact on the life we live. Our thoughts affect our actions and behavior. And nothing changes until we decide to take action and do something to move forward in a positive healthy direction. Fight for your optimism. Fight for your hope. Meditate on thoughts that empower and strengthen you, and not weaken you. Exercise to release stress so optimism is more easily practiced.
Don’t waste a single day overly stressed, worried and disturbed in your mind when there is something you can do to keep your peace.
So, remember, we have only one day at a time to live, so let’s live this day consciously and deliberately and choose well.
