So, are you making progress towards your goals or are you procrastinating and waiting for the conditions to be perfect to make positive changes in your life?

Unhealthy habits in your thoughts, attitudes and behavior can creep into your life swiftly if you allow it to. It’s easier to stay home rather than get a workout in. It’s easier to stop at a fast food restaurant than cook a healthy meal. It’s easier to complain about your circumstance and situation than it is to roll up your sleeves and do something positive, progressive and forward moving. These easier unhealthy habits also pave the way to unhappiness, sickness and disease.

So make the decision to progress today:

  1. Stop making excuses and take responsibility for your health and well-being. Go after your goals each day, and don’t allow anyone or anything to stop you from making positive changes in your life.
  1. Live on purpose. Be mindful that every choice we make is moving us in a direction. Use your time wisely, because we can’t get today back.
  1. Understand that even small steps count. Each healthy meal you eat is nourishing you. Each workout is making your body a little stronger. Each meditation you practice is helping you be calm and in peace.
  1. Aim for progress rather than perfection. Take action, even if it’s not perfect action. Just do and be your best right where you are, that is always better than procrastination. The perfect time to make positive healthy changes in your life is right now.

So, remember, we have only one day at a time to live, so live it today consciously and deliberately and choose well!
