There is no way to reach a goal without some growing pains.  It has been said that pain is normally the highway to success.

Today, let’s change our perspective and see our challenges as blessings, stumbling blocks as stepping stones, and mistakes as learning experiences.


  1. Start your day in a positive empowering way–workout, meditate, read, journal, pray.  Take time to set the tone for the day in a positive healthy direction in the morning.
  1. Ask yourself–“what can I do today that is helpful to move me forward?” Then do it.  No matter how small the action step is.  It’s still forward moving action. Be courageous and find your brave in moments of uncomfortable challenge.
  1. Find peace with the fact that there will be pain your life. If we experience loss, we will grieve.  If we get hurt or ill, there will be pain.  But do we need to allow these painful experiences to overtake us, bury us, and keep us down?  Can we walk through it, healing, growing and counting our blessings one day at a time?  It’s a choice to stand up each day in confidence and strength, dig in deep, and move forward in a positive, productive, and empowered way one day at a time.

So, remember, we have only one day at a time to live, so live your day consciously and deliberately and choose well!
