Awareness—Time, Energy and Focus
“Choose how you use.”
~Linda Ellis
We are blessed with a new set of 1440 minutes per day. These are YOUR minutes to choose whom you share them with, what you will do, what situations and emotions you will invest in. I love the Linda Ellis quote.
Ask yourself this question as you live your day–
- When you are about to make a purchase, “Is this really worth my money?”
- Ask yourself before engaging in negativity, blaming, complaining, and comparing, “Is this really worth my minutes?”
- Ask yourself before you start worrying about something, or fretting about a situation, “Is this helping me or my situation?”
- Ask yourself before you share/comment on a post, “Is this something I want my signature on?”
Today most of us are very careful as to how we would spend $1,440, but not so mindful and careful about our time. Our greatest assets are our time, energy and focus. Today, choose to live consciously and deliberately by simply checking in with yourself and “choose how you will use”.
Life has its moments of suffering, challenge and concerns. But we get to choose how we will respond and react. Make it an optimistic, hopeful response.
Choose how you will use.
This will keep our physical body healthy, our mind clear and focused and our spirit strong. And we will be using our time efficiently and helpful.
So, remember, we have only one day at a time to live, so live today consciously and deliberately and choose well.
