The Gift of Free Will
Learn from the past, set vivid detailed goals for the future, and live in the only moment of time of which you have any control: NOW!
~ Denis Waitley
What a blessing it is that we have not only the gift of a new day, but the gift of free will.
We have free will to choose whether we will move forward in a positive direction, or bring the frustrations and worries of yesterday into today.
We have free will to choose whether we will take positive action today toward our goals, or will we procrastinate and accept excuses from ourselves.
We have free will to choose a fresh, uplifting and positive attitude or be a victim of our situation or circumstance.
We have free will to choose to expect good things and blessings today, or infuse your day with gloom, doom and dread.
I want encourage you to use your gift of free will in an empowering way by:
- Not allowing the little things to build up. Learn to let go of the things you have no control over, and focus instead on the things you can change have control over.
- Each morning let go of your disappointments of yesterday, and bring a fresh new attitude to your day. Focus on your possibilities and solutions, and start fresh each day excited for a new beginning.
- Begin each day with the empowering duo of exercise and meditation. How we start our day has a tremendous effect on how the rest of the day unfolds. Exercise and meditation nourishes our mind, body and spirit at the start of our day and gives us the strength, energy and focus we need live healthy and empowered.
So remember, we have only one day at a time to live, so live it today, and use your gift of free will to choose well today.
