Thoughts on how to start you day.
Each sunrise gives hope to your dreams and light to your plans. ~William Maphoto
We all have one thing in common. 24 hours per day. 1440 minutes to choose how we will live and invest our time and energy. Will we make life giving, positive choices, choices that will nourish our body, mind and soul? Or will we make choices that are toxic and negative to our body, mind and soul?
Studies have shown that how we start our day has a huge impact on how our day will unfold.
May I encourage you to wake up a little earlier to give yourself time to nourish your body, you mind and spirit. This may be uncomfortable at first, but all positive changes come from getting uncomfortable and strengthening our self-discipline.
May I encourage you to meditate, exercise, and be aware of negative foreboding first thing in the morning.
Meditating on empowering thoughts will strengthen and energize you for the day.
Exercising first thing in the morning, even for just 15 minutes, will boost our mood, increase our energy, and release stress and tension.
Be aware of negative foreboding. Negative foreboding is a negative toxic habit of expecting something bad to happen, and dreading your day. Dread is such a discouraging negative energy. Your day is your life. Train yourself not to dread any part of your day. How? Keep your attitude thankful and joyful. We can be joyful and thankful through anything we experience. See challenging and not so great situations as an opportunity to strengthen your spirit.
We have only this day to live. So, live this day consciously and deliberately and choose well.
