We all live our lives the same way in one respect, one day at a time. I know you hear this a lot – to live one day at a time – but when you get really good at living one moment at a time, you’ll see positive changes happening right before your eyes. It does takes practice, commitment, focus, and patience to live this way.

  1. Each morning set your goals and intentions for the day. The night before, write down in a planner what you want to accomplish for the next day. Align your choice in thought, action and attitude with what you want accomplish and who you are want to be, and resolve to live the day to the fullest.
  2. Give yourself the gift of going within, be silent each day, and breathe. Mediation, prayer, a gratitude practice, taking a walk outside – these powerful practices keep you strong, positive, and in your peace which is a healthy place to be while achieving any goal you set for yourself. They also help you through any obstacle or challenge you may be facing, and keep you present moment focused.

So remember, we have only one day at a time to live. So live your present moments today, and choose well.
